The column "POP" indicates whether the id can be configured in mail programs of a computer (like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Eudora, Eudora Pro, etc) or not. Needless to mention, the space per iD when operating through such programs will depend upon the space in your hard disc and will have nothing to do with the space provided to you per iD in the web interface version of it.

All our servers do not support all the above plans. If you are an existing customer of ours but had not been using domain emails earlier and want to use them now, please get in touch with us to know whether a change of server would be required in your case to go for a particular plan. If yes, some additional costs might be involved, and your site might remain down for a time span varying between 30 minutes to 24 hours depending on various factors. If it is a short span in your case (like 30 minutes to 1 hour), the changeover can be done on a date of your choice or during a dull hour (like, past midnight before dawn of the time zone of your country) to minimize your loss related to website downtime.

If you are already running a website (say, www.abc.com) whether with us or with some other service provider, you may use your current domain name for emails (like, info@abc.com) or get a separate domain (like info@abcmails.com). This will be absolutely free of cost (i.e., without having to pay for the registration of the new domain or its renewal in any year).
You will also get a free redirection of the new domain to your main domain. As for example, seeing your mail iD info@abcmails.com if someone goes to www.abcmails.com to find your website, he will automatically reach your main website www.abc.com.
Alternatively, you can also get an additional website or loose webpages / web brochures / adpages at www.abcmails.com by paying nominal designing charges without paying anything for its hosting. You will get unlimited hosting space there as well and not in the emails only.
Not only the above benefits, but the following interesting mail handling features are also available in the BIZPRO plan :
You can merge mailboxes. Like, suppose you want to control the admin@abc.com and info@abc.com iDs yourself and want the other iDs (like, sales@abc.com and accounts@abc.com) to be shared by your staff. In that case, if you so wish, you can make it in such a way that the admin and info mails will reach the same mailbox and will open with the same password so that you don't have the botheration of checking them one after the other by logging in and out. You can also switch the sender field, i.e., you can reply from the info iD to a mail originally written to the admin iD or vice versa. There will be a simple, drop down button to show all the iDs (linked in that particular mailbox) while composing or replying to an email. The sales and accounts iDs, in that case, will have separate mailboxes with separate username and password which your staff may handle or share with you, as you wish.
If you so wish, you can also get your domain mail delivered to your free mailbox (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Rediffmail, etc). Not only you can read it from there, but can also reply from there but the mail will still go in the name of the domain iD. This feature is currently supported by Gmail and Yahoo only. Similar to the above point, a dropdown button will appear in your Gmail or Yahoo mail composer page to decide from which iD you would like to send.
If you want to delete an iD (like, in case you create an iD in the name of an employee like vicky@abc.com who leaves job later), that also can be done instantly. For reasons of privacy, the system has been created in such a way that we cannot enter any of those mailboxes without knowing the password of that account, but we can see the list of the iDs created from our control panel. We can select any iD and delete it along with all its contents. |
